Further to the announcement of 22 February 2024 of a final dividend of 41 US cents per ordinary share, the equivalent of the dividend detailed above in Sterling is 32.894 pence per share and in Euros is 38.507 Euro cents per share based on exchange rates of US$1:£0.8023 and US$1:€0.9392.

The US$:£/€ conversion rates were determined by the actual rates achieved by Anglo American buying forward contracts for those currencies during the two working days preceding this announcement, for delivery on the dividend payment date.

As announced on 22 February 2024, the equivalent of the dividend in South African Rand is 775.11730 cents per ordinary share, based on an exchange rate of US$1:ZAR18.90530, taken on Wednesday, 21 February 2024, and the equivalent of the dividend in Botswanan Pula is 559.34660 thebes per ordinary share, based on an exchange rate of US$1:BWP13.64260, taken on Wednesday, 21 February 2024.

The payment date of the dividend is Friday, 3 May 2024.
