Keller Williams (KW), the world’s largest real estate franchise by agent count, is hosting its 16th annual Renew, Energize, and Donate Day – or RED Day – today.

“RED Day embodies our commitment to giving back and making a tangible impact in the communities we serve every day,” said Mark Willis, CEO and president of Keller Williams. “As a driving force for positive change, our agents are making a difference beyond real estate across the world today. RED Day is truly our culture in action.”

Since May 2009, KW agents worldwide have dedicated a full day to community service, engaging in a diverse range of volunteer efforts in collaboration with local nonprofit partners to enhance neighborhoods.

Keller Williams Associates on RED Day

  • “For my eighth RED Day, I will be working with the Stockton, California, market center stocking shelves in the food warehouse for Bread of Life,” said Peggy Hetlage, a Keller Williams Realty, Inc. team member. “I am happy to serve my community and give where I live.”
  • “There is so much I love about Keller Williams, but RED Day is one of my favorites when we come together to help an organization in our community,” said Barbara Shallue, an Austin, Texas-based KW agent. “This year, the Northwest Austin market center is helping out with a veteran event hosted by Dress for Success, where each veteran will obtain career assistance and clothing, hair styling, makeup touch-ups, and a professional headshot.”
  • “Seeing examples of compassion, service, and community on RED Day is both touching and inspiring,” said Rebecca Durfey, a Glendale, Arizona-based KW agent. “It is an honor to stand among so many who do not just talk about giving back but jump in and find the most needed and effective ways to put their words into action.”
  • “For RED Day 2024, we’re supporting individuals and groups working tirelessly with abandoned dogs. Our goal is to provide food, resources, and financial support to these people so they can find safe and loving homes for these dogs,” said Sylvia Purcell, team leader, KW Puerto Rico.
  • “Keller Williams Fresno is volunteering with Live Again Fresno, an organization that works with families living in motels along Parkway Drive,” said Joanna Odabashian, a Fresno, California-based team leader. “We will replant the community garden with melons and chili peppers, clean the yard, and host a food drive. A byproduct of RED Day is that we learn about amazing organizations doing fabulous work in our communities that we may not be aware of.”
  • “Keller Williams is a brand that honors its values through this day of service,” said Spain-based Sara Doncel, an agent with KW Marbella. ”We are helping to renovate a home involved in humanitarian work and feeding hungry people.”
  • "Every year for RED Day, our market center conducts a donation drive to help replenish our local pantry, Toberman Neighborhood Center, and our local animal rescue, Pedro Pet Pals," said Natalie Rocha, a Los Angeles-based market center administrator. "We love being able to support our human and fur friends in our community every year."
