Kerzner International Limited (NYSE:KZL) (the "Company"), a leading international developer and operator of destination resorts, casinos and luxury resorts, announced the appointment of Hector de Galard as General Manager of One&Only Le Touessrok, the Mauritius resort that is part of the One&Only Resorts collection. Mr. de Galard began his new position at One&Only Le Touessrok earlier this year. Mr. de Galard originally joined One&Only Resorts in late 2003 to launch a hotel in Cuba that was to be named the One&Only Saratoga, Havana. The Company and One&Only Resorts have since terminated their relationship with the principals involved in the project in Cuba and have no continuing involvement in the Saratoga hotel. "When we withdrew from Saratoga, finding a key position for de Galard was a priority. The timing was fortuitous, as we were searching concurrently for the right person to run One&Only Le Touessrok," commented JT Kuhlman, President/Managing Director of One&Only Resorts. Prior to working for Amanresorts, de Galard held the position of General Manager at two award-winning luxury resorts, Hostellerie de Crillon le Brave in France and Hasting House in Canada, both of which were affiliated with Relais & Chateaux.
