information is compiled from both official and unofficial refining
sources and doesn't purport to be a comprehensive list.
Valero Energy Corp.'s (VLO) refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas,
reported unplanned maintenance at Complex 1 located at the West
Plant on March 28-30, citing SMR Unit 13, according to a regulatory
filing. Work and startup will be completed as soon as possible.
Exxon Mobil Corp.'s (XOM) refinery in Baytown, Texas, repaired
on Saturday a pinhole leak in piping at Gofiner Tower 252,
resulting in emissions.
BP PLC (BP) reported Monday planned flaring activity at its
Carson, Calif., refinery that will take place on March 30-April 20,
according to a filing with state environmental regulators. On
Sunday, BP reported a flaring event that would start that evening
and last through April 5.
Tesoro Corp. (TSO) notified California environmental regulators
Friday of its plan to vent gas flow at its Wilmington refinery
starting March 27 and ending on March 31. The flaring was not
related to equipment breakdown.
