Destatis has released German industrial output for September at 2.00 am ET Friday. The euro changed little against its major counterparts after the data.

The euro was trading at 1.1830 against the greenback, 122.44 against the yen, 1.0681 against the franc and 0.9010 against the pound around 2:05 am ET.
