Enel Green Power Chile to Build Solar Plant for $164 Million

Enel SpA said Thursday that Enel Chile SA's renewable energy
subsidiary Enel Green Power Chile has started construction works
for the Domeyko solar plant in Chile's Antofagasta region.
The Rome-based energy company said the plant will require a
total investment of $164 million and is due to be completed by July
2021.
The plant is set to produce about 589 gigawatt hours of energy
when operational, avoiding the emission of 439,000 tons of carbon
dioxide, Enel said.
