--A consortium of Allianz SE and life insurer Athora Holding is
in advanced talks to buy the French branch of Aviva PLC, Reuters
reported Thursday.
--The price tag for the subsidiary of the FTSE-100 insurer is
between 2 billion and 3 billion euros ($2.3 billion-$3.5 billion),
sources close to the matter told Reuters.
