Euro Rises Ahead Of Eurozone Retail Sales
At 5.00 am ET Wednesday, Eurostat is slated to issue Eurozone
retail sales data for June. Economists forecast sales to grow 5.9
percent on month, slower than the 17.8 percent increase seen in
May.
Ahead of the data, the euro advanced against its major
rivals.
The euro was worth 1.1839 against the greenback, 125.09 against
the yen, 1.0778 against the franc and 0.9036 against the pound at
4:55 am ET.
