Walmart Drops Plans for New Video-Streaming Service, Sources Say -CNBC

--Walmart Inc. (WMT) has dropped plans to launch a new
video-streaming service, CNBC reported Thursday, citing people
familiar with the matter.
--The retailer made the decision after unsuccessful talks with
cable-TV veteran Mark Greenberg, the people said, according to the
report.
--Walmart instead will focus on bolstering Vudu, the video
service it acquired in 2010, the report said.
