Pound Retreats Ahead Of U.K. Public Sector Finance Data

At 4.30 am ET Tuesday, the Office for National Statistics is
scheduled to issue UK public sector finance data. The budget
deficit is forecast to rise to GBP 6.5 billion in October from GBP
5.3 billion in September.
Ahead of the data, the pound retreated from its early highs
against its major rivals.
The pound was worth 1.3238 against the greenback, 148.88 against
the yen, 1.3145 against the franc and 0.8863 against the euro as of
4:25 am ET.
