Leading cybersecurity solutions and consulting provider enlists
Quokka for mobile app security intelligence to protect the public
sector mobile ecosystem
GuidePoint Security, a cybersecurity solutions leader enabling
organizations to make smarter decisions and minimize risk,
announced today that Quokka has joined its Emerging Cyber Vendor
Program.
Through this partnership, Quokka will be able to leverage
GuidePoint’s deep federal expertise across sales and marketing,
operations, engineering, and procurement to expand their federal
footprint. As part of the program, the Quokka Contextual Mobile
Security Intelligence Platform will be available under GuidePoint’s
GSA Multiple Award Schedule Contract.
"Mobile application security and privacy are mission-critical
for federal organizations as threat actors become increasingly more
advanced,” said Jim Quarantillo, Federal Partner, GuidePoint
Security. “By securing the mobile application development lifecycle
and the assessing COTS mobile applications in app stores, the
Quokka platform can help agencies prevent zero-day exploits, meet
mobile cybersecurity requirements and better protect national
security.”
Backed by state-of-the-art mobile security research and
proprietary intelligence, Quokka enables organizations to reduce
their attack surface through proactive remediation of
vulnerabilities — before they become incidents that threaten
privacy, intellectual property, sensitive data, and reputation. The
Quokka platform helps power the FedRAMP-certified CISA
(Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency) Mobile App
Vetting (MAV) service, a mobile application security solution
currently offered to federal civilian agencies.
“The attack surface for mobile threats is ever increasing in
size and complexity for both commercial and public sectors.
Quokka’s proprietary solutions are already battle hardened, and
every day we protect organizations from Fortune 500 companies to
the US Federal Government,” said Dana Waldman, CEO at Quokka.
“We’re excited to partner with GuidePoint Security and use their
extensive federal expertise to deliver our award-winning mobile
security platform on an even larger scale.”
