Company recruits new Senior Sales Executive to spearhead effort
FAIR LAWN, N.J., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Henry Bros.
Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ:HBE), a turnkey provider of
technology-based integrated electronic security solutions,
announced today that it is expanding its presence in Texas, with a
specific focus on the San Antonio, Austin and South Texas markets.
Henry Bros. currently maintains offices in the Dallas and Houston
areas. To support this expansion, the Company has recruited a new
Senior Sales Executive, Richard Zuniga, with a mandate to focus on
the convergence of physical and IT security. Zuniga's appointment
took effect on September 1, 2009. Henry Bros. has maintained a
consistent presence in the Texas security market for more than 14
years, and recently bolstered its leadership in this market with
the appointment of John Noble as Vice President and General Manager
of the Company's Southern Region in September 2008. Zuniga will
report directly to Noble. John Noble, Vice President and General
Manager Southern Region, commented, "Bringing Richard on board to
spearhead our Central Texas expansion is the right move at the
right time. Henry Brothers has viewed the San Antonio/Austin/South
Texas markets as ripe for expansion for some time, and we have
slowly built the relationships and created the operational
infrastructure to make this a reality. Richard is very familiar
with the market and brings with him strategic relationships that
are sure to speed our progress. I am happy to welcome him to our
team and confident that we will soon begin to see solid returns
from our investment in the market." Zuniga has more than two
decades of sales experience, much of which has been focused on
Central Texas. Prior to joining Henry Bros., Zuniga served as the
Regional Manager for Sales and Operations for IPVision, Inc. in
Arizona. While at IPVision, Zuniga's responsibilities included
collaborating with key functional business channels, including the
Cisco Physical Security Business Unit, and working to secure
mindshare, leads, and to gain entrance to sales opportunities.
Prior to joining IPVision, Zuniga spent seven years at Calence
Insight Networking Solutions, where as the Physical Security
Practice Director, he helped to develop its physical security
practice, providing sales market converge for IP-based video
surveillance, and access control product and service offerings.
While at Calence Insight Networking Solutions, Zuniga worked
closely with the Cisco Business Unit in promoting and deploying
initial VSM and CPAM Solutions. About Henry Bros. Electronics, Inc.
