HUNTSVILLE, Tenn., May 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MILLER PETROLEUM, INC. (OTC:MILL) (BULLETIN BOARD: MILL) Drilling begins on Koppers South in Campbell County, Tennessee. This 22,000-acre prospect is included in a recently formed Joint Venture, Wind Mill Oil & Gas LLC, in which Miller Petroleum has a 49% interest and Wind City has a 51% interest. Drilling is with company equipment. Koppers South is a high graded prospect that is expected to produce hydrocarbons from the Mississippian Age "Big Lime" and Devonian Age "Chattanooga Shale." The "Big Lime" is prolific in the region and on trend with the "Days Chapel Field" which is the largest oil field in the State of Tennessee. Miller has oil production on the eastern portion of the prospect and expects natural gas production on the western section. The Devonian Shale could supply production to compliment the "Big Lime." "We have enough acreage on this prospect to drill many wells that are in the proximity of a gas sales line. We are excited about getting these first wells drilled and completed. The anticipated production income should add significantly to our cash flow." noted Deloy Miller, CEO, Miller Petroleum. Miller Petroleum, Inc. is a publicly traded, fully integrated, gas and oil exploration and production company with headquarters in Huntsville, Tennessee. The company's gas and oil reserves are rapidly increasing in the Appalachian Basin.
