CHEYENNE, Wyo., April 7, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Great Lakes
Aviation, Ltd. (OTC:GLUX) (BULLETIN BOARD: GLUX) today announced
preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of March 2008.
Scheduled service generated 13,907,000 revenue passenger miles
(RPM's), a 12.2 percent increase from the same month last year.
Available seat miles (ASM's) increased 9.1 percent to 28,233,000.
As a result, load factor increased 1.4 points to 49.26 percent.
Passengers carried increased 12.0 percent to 51,069 when compared
to March 2007. Preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM)
increased 12.0 percent from 28.87 cents to 32.33 cents. For the
three months ending March 31, 2008 compared to the same three month
period in 2007, revenue passenger miles (RPM's) increased 13.4
percent to 38,077,000 and available seat miles (ASM's) increased
13.2 percent to 82,941,000, resulting in a load factor of 45.91
percent for the year 2008 effecting an increase in load factor of
0.1 points compared to the same three month period in 2007. The
company carried 141,138 revenue passengers for the three month
period ending March 31, 2008, a 12.9 percent increase from the
prior year. Preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM)
increased 8.4 percent from 28.15 cents to 30.52 cents on a

Lakes is providing scheduled passenger service at 45 airports in
twelve states with a fleet of Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias and
Raytheon/Beech 1900D regional airliners. A total of 234 weekday
flights are mostly scheduled at five hubs, with 140 flights at
Denver, 8 flights at Albuquerque, 8 flights at Phoenix, 28 flights
at St. Louis and 18 flights at Kansas City, MO. All scheduled
flights are operated under the Great Lakes Airlines marketing
identity in conjunction with code-share agreements with United
Airlines and Frontier Airlines at the Denver International Airport
