Ketera plans to integrate its on demand (web-based) solution with a traditional, on-premise application supported by Hyperion behind a corporate firewall, which will be a milestone in the rapid evolution of the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) market. This technical breakthrough is a realization of the long-awaited promise of operational Business Intelligence (BI), which allows customers to capture and analyze spend data in real-time to optimize business operations. As a result of this partnership, CFOs will be able to use Ketera�s on demand solutions to track the performance and status of their spend management initiatives anytime from anywhere via a Hyperion dashboard. This will give CFOs clear visibility into dollars spent so they can act quickly and take advantage of savings opportunities. Also as a result of this partnership, Ketera will integrate the Ketera Spend Management suite with Hyperion System 9 BI+ Interactive Reporting to deliver on-demand reporting functionality to customers.
