                            Appointment of Director


Wren Homes is pleased to announce the appointment of David Slade as a
non-executive director with immediate effect.

David Nathaniel Slade, aged 53, has a track record in property investment and
development and he is currently interested in 3,867,208 ordinary shares in the
Company, representing 9.56% of the issued share capital. As Wren Homes stated on
11 April 2008, the Company regards David Slade's investment as a significant
vote of confidence and hopes to benefit from his experience in seeking out new
opportunities.

David Slade is currently a director of City Centre Holdings SA, which is engaged
in property investment and development in Europe and of Vertical Holdings plc, a
former OFEX listed company, which is now a non-trading "shell".

Over the previous five years, David Slade was a director of Financial & General
Trust Limited, Romford Leisure Properties Limited and Bardo Limited. In 1990/91,
he was a director of Slade Holdings plc, of which he was also the controlling
shareholder, engaged in jewellery manufacturing and distribution, which was
placed in receivership as a result of difficult market conditions.

No further information falls to be disclosed under the AIM Rules.
