INTERIM DIVIDEND

12 September 2008

The Board of Life Offices Opportunities Trust PLC (the "Company") announces
that, an interim dividend of 2.5 pence per share in respect of the period from
1 January 2008 to 14 October 2008 will be paid to shareholders on the Register
of Members as at 26 September 2008. The dividend will be paid on 14 October
2008 (ex-dividend 24 September 2008), and is subject to the Company having
sufficient available distributable reserves on the payment date.
