British Airways Offers Club World Summer Special Business Class Flat Bed Seat On Sale From All 22 Gateways in North America NEW YORK, July 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- British Airways today announced a one week "summer special" sale for its Club World cabin from all 22 North American gateways to London for travel Friday, Aug. 12, through Wednesday, Sept. 7. The lead-in roundtrip fare is $2911 from New York (JFK or Newark), Boston, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. The $2911 represents a 65 percent reduction off the normal New York/London roundtrip price. From the following gateways, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Houston, the comparable price is $3117. From Denver, Phoenix and Seattle, the price is $3591, and from Los Angeles and San Francisco, the roundtrip fare is $4088. The roundtrip fares, also available from British Airways' three Canadian gateways, are $2998 (Canadian) from Montreal and Toronto and $3298 (Canadian) from Vancouver. Bookings will be taken from Friday, July 29 through midnight (EDT), Friday, Aug. 5. and must be made 14 days prior to departure. Minimum stay is one Saturday night and maximum stay is 12 months. A $300 add-on for Club Europe to 45 cities in Europe also is available; Club World to Tel Aviv is priced at an additional $400. "With our new business class fares for summer travel, leisure travelers can now afford to fly to London in the comfort of our Club World cabin. Fares for August travel are approximately 60% less than our regular business class rates," said Elizabeth Weisser, Vice President Marketing North America for British Airways. There is a $400 cancellation fee, and once outbound departure has commenced, no changes are permitted.
