GBPJPY Pound Sterling vs Japanese Yen

The British pound weakened against other major currencies in the European session on Monday.

The pound fell to nearly a 3-week low of 1.3301 against the U.S. dollar, more than a 2-week low of 1.2918 against the Swiss franc and a 6-day low of 150.08 against the yen, from early highs of 1.3402, 1.2981 and 150.96, respectively.

Against the euro, the pound dropped to 0.8830 from an early high of 0.8801.

If the pound extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 1.30 against the greenback, 1.27 against the franc, 146.00 against the yen and 0.90 against the euro.
