Retirement of Named Executive Officer

On September 12, 2016, Mr. Michael J. Mack, Jr., a Deere & Company named executive officer, announced his intention to retire from Deere & Company (“Company”) effective November 1, 2016. Mr. Mack has served as Group President, John Deere Financial Services, Global Human Resources and Public Affairs since 2014.

These changes and related senior management changes for the Company are described in the text of a press release issued by the Company on September 12, 2016, attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
